Monod Sports is a third-generation-owned ski and outdoors shop in the Banff region. More than seven decades ago, Swissman John Monod landed in Banff and set to work opening a small ski shop at what would become Sunshine Village. Since those early days, Monod Sports has expanded and changed locations a few times. Today at Monod’s storefront on Banff Avenue, the owners (grandchildren of Monod) still pride themselves on offering knowledgeable service and gearing people up for outdoor pursuits like skiing, hiking, climbing and camping.
