There’s a new spot to get your smash burger fix in Calgary.
Rosie’s Burgers, a popular Ontario-based burger shop, is expanding west with its first Alberta location in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood. The Calgary shop is a colourful and cheerful spot to tuck into a burger with its red and white decor and bar seating.
The menu is the same across its locations, so expect smash burgers with two patties and classic toppings like American cheese, bacon, diced onions and more (depending on the flavour). Vegetarians can tuck into The Veggie burger, which features a single smashed Beyond Meat patty and various toppings. There are also two chicken sandwich options, popcorn chicken and sides like fries, poutine and onion rings.
Milkshakes and chocolate chip cookies are on the docket for dessert, as well as the shop’s ultra popular banana pudding featuring fresh bananas, vanilla custard, graham and cookie crumble. The banana pudding gets tons of social media hype, so it’s probably a smart move to add one to your next order.
