Edmonton-based luxury footwear and accessories company Poppy Barley has launched its first home goods line. Called PB Casa, the collection features chic and sustainable limited edition home essentials including organizational sets, multipurpose mats, a universal pouch and universal pencil case.

“The idea for PB Casa emerged as a firm concept in the summer of 2020. We began working earnestly on the collection in early 2021 — sketching, sampling and perfecting products,” says co-founder Kendall Barber. “PB Casa was inspired by our homes, especially as the pandemic shifted our relationships with our homes.”

The collection is handcrafted at solar-powered, family-owned factories in Mexico. Made from pebbled leather, the home essentials are soft to the touch yet exceptionally durable. All the pieces come in three warm and modern colours: aquamarine pebble, sand pebble and black pebble. Pouches and pencil cases feature elegant gold-C zippers.

PB Casa’s products are designed to be functional, eye-catching pieces. “Keep small items organized on your desk and vanity, or perfectly style your entryway or coffee table,” Barber says. “Your pens, makeup brushes, keys, small gadgets, candles, perfumes and bedside carafes will finally have a home.” Barber hopes to continue expanding the home line in the future.

PB Casa products are available for purchase online and at Poppy Barley’s Calgary store in CF Market Mall.
