The Grey Eagle Resort & Casino’s Grey Eagle Drive In is one of the newer drive-in theatre experiences in Calgary. Located on the Tsuut’ina Nation, the theatre shows films on a big stage with four large screens. Upcoming screenings feature movies like Thelma & Louise and Stand By Me. The drive-in offers food and drinks for purchase prior to the event that can be delivered directly to your car.

Motor Nights

Upcoming screenings: June 10 to 13
Cost: $55 per car
Motor Nights is back for another weekend full of films at the Cochrane & District AG Society. Guests can attend screenings for movies like The Princess Bride, Scream, Pulp Fiction and more. Local food trucks will be on-site for drive-thru service or car-side delivery. Part of the event proceeds will go to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Big Art Drive-In at Telus Spark is brought to us by a collection of non-profits, charities and for-profit partners working to create an affordable community space. The Big Art Drive-In’s grand opening is on June 18 and upcoming movies include The Lego Movie, Clueless and Mean Girls. While watching from your vehicle, you can expect to see immersive elements like special effects and live-action actors to elevate the movie experience. The venue will also have a full concession menu that will be delivered straight to your car.
